More than 18 million people in 13 states-including Georgia are under a flood warning, Wednesday morning.

Over the past few days, flooding has killed at least 18 people in Missouri and Illinois.

Missouri state’s governor declared a state of emergency and activated the national guard.
Homes, businesses, highways and fields are underwater.

Parts of suburban St. Louis near the Mississippi River have been evacuated and so has a prison in Illinois.

Over the past few days, extreme flooding has killed at least 18 people in the region. It was a similar scene in Arkansas where flooding pushed a marina into a bridge.

Even though most of the rain has stopped, the water is continuing to rise.

The Mississippi is on track to break the record level set by the great flood of 1993.

Crews are monitoring more than a dozen vunerable levees, Wednesday.
