JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Waking up to chilly, yes, chilly inland temperatures. Sunrise low temperatures will be 50-55 throughout much of Southern Georgia. Downtown Jacksonville will see wake-up temperatures around 60-65 and beaches will start off near 70°. Normal high is 79° and our normal low is 59°
Coastal areas will see the nor'easter that we are currently experiencing, will continue to cause a number of advisories including:
- Small Craft Advisories mainly for winds and seas. Winds to 30 mph and Seas to 6 ft.
- Coastal Flood Advisories for high tide coastal flooding, 8-10am beaches, 10-12noon Downtown Jacksonville.
- Heavy Surf up to surf 4-6' and a few sets up to 8'
These conditions will continue through Thursday.
Today and Thursday, coastal clouds, winds, even a few showers will still be possible for areas east of I-95. Downtown to the west of town, some sunshine, cool and breezy conditions will continue with daytime highs warming back into the 80s by Thursday afternoon.
Weekend outlook brings in some showers and warmer than normal temperatures as highs reach back up into thee mid-upper 80s by Monday. Yep, feel-like temperatures will again be back in the low 90s!
