Temperatures turn chilly tonight

Partly cloudy skies, pleasant evening

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – What a gorgeous day! We topped out in the low 70s under mostly sunny skies. A few clouds have moved in this evening, making for partly cloudy skies.

Expect a quick cool down tonight, sinking through the 60s and 50s, eventually making it down into the upper 40s and low 50s by sunrise.

Sunday you can expect mostly clear skies and chilly temperatures to start the day.  Wake up temperatures will be in the in the upper 40s to low 50s in land and in the low to mid 50s along the sandy shores.  Under sunny skies, afternoon highs climb  into the upper 60s to low 70s in our inland areas and in the upper 60s along the beaches.  Winds will be light, out of the northwest between 7 and 12mph.

For the work week, expect the dry weather to continue. With all of the sunshine, afternoon highs creep through the 70s during the week. By Wednesday, we will be topping out in the mild mid 70s through Thursday. A chance for showers overnight Thursday night and early Friday morning precedes a cold front which drops out temperatures back down into the upper 60s and low 70s for Saturday afternoon of next weekend.
