Chilly, clear evening

Mid to low 40s overnight, with I-75 temperatures brushing the upper 30s

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – What a beautiful Tuesday, with sunny skies and cool, crisp temperatures in the low 70s this afternoon. Winds were light, out of the northwest, between 5 and 10mph. The drier air behind the cold front that pushed through has lowered our humidity and cleared our skies out. Enjoy the Fall weather over the next few days.

Tonight will turn cool quickly and eventually chilly. Around sunset, expect temperatures to only be in the upper 60s and low 70s, but dropping quickly through the 60s and 50s, down into the 40s overnight tonight. Inland counties could see isolated upper 30's along I-75 briefly around sunrise. Coastal temperatures and areas along the river will only get down in to the mid to low 50s because of their proximity to the relatively warmer bodies of water.

Wednesday starts out chilly and you can expect another gorgeous cool, Fall day. Mostly sunny skies and light winds out of the northwest between 5 and 10mph will prevail. Afternoon highs will warm into the low 70s for the afternoon. There are no chances for showers and the humidity will be low. Enjoy!

Wednesday night will not be as chilly, but cooler temperatures usher in overnight, putting us in the mid to upper 40s on Thursday morning.

Thursday the clear skies and dry conditions continue, but we do warm into the mild mid 70s during the afternoon hours.

Friday morning starts in the upper 40s and low 50s and then warm into the upper 70s for an afternoon high with increasing moisture making it feel a tad more humid out there.

Chances for shower do pick up over the weekend, especially late Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Chances for shower decrease during the day on Sunday.
