Sweat it Out: 90s arrive early as dry spell continues. Mark Collins says near record heat is next.
The heat is building. Sunny and dry weather has been with us all week and it is sticking around into the weekend.
Tomorrow we climb to near 90 well ahead of our typical arrival of 90 degree days by late April. Look for several days near record highs Friday through Sunday when temps top out in the low 90s.
The dry weather pattern will last through the end of this week except for a chance of Georgia showers over the weekend. The next chance for rain for the rest of us will be Sunday night as a cold front approaches from the northwest. The rain will be heaviest with a few thunderstorms overnight with showers lasting into Monday.
Finally the cold down back into the 80s comes behind the front Monday.
