Be sure to keep the umbrella handy this week

Sunday evening

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Monday morning will start off in the mid-to-upper 60s and the dry pattern we’ve had all weekend will come to an end. Rain returns to the forecast for just about everyone starting Monday afternoon. Some folks may have showers overnight, but the scattered showers and isolated thunderstorm activity will increase after lunchtime and stick around through Tuesday evening.

Temperatures will be hot, adding to the gusty conditions along with sea breezes from both the Gulf Coast and the Atlantic Coast. Rain chances remain for the entire week as temperatures continue to rise near 90.

Monday sunrise: 6:34 a.m.
