ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash in St. Augustine late Friday night.
Benjamin Robert Kausch, 45, was traveling northbound on the shoulder of U.S 1 south of Stokes Landing Road.

Around 10:35 p.m., a driver also traveling northbound veered onto the shoulder and struck Kausch, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver did not stop.
Kausch's sister, Faye tells News4Jax she can't imagine how anyone could just keep going.
"To hit a grown man, 150 pounds, you know he felt it. Whoever it could have been they had to feel him," said Faye Kausch.
