2 men accused of stealing television from home found guilty

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two men have been found guilty this week in a burglary that happened in 2015, the state attorney's office said.

Richard Adams, 28, and Jarvis Thomas, 25, broke into the victim's home in November while the victim was at work.

The state attorney's office said the pair fled the scene after stealing a television from the home.

Surveillance cameras inside the home captured the burglary, the state attorney's office said. Adams and Thomas were later arrested.

Adams and Thomas face up to 30 years in prison as habitual felony offenders and prison release reoffenders, the state attorney's office said. They will be sentenced the week of Aug. 15.
