2 wanted in killing of 31-year-old man in Ortega Farms apartment Jacksonville homicide detectives say robbery turned into homicide No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for two people in connection with Saturday's fatal shooting of 31-year-old Ivon Mayrant in a unit at the Mission Springs Apartments on Catoma Street.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office identified Mayrant as the victim Tuesday and said he was shot during an apparent robbery attempt.
Police said Saturday that homicide detectives questioned other people who were inside the apartment when they arrived about 2:15 a.m., but no arrests were made.
Police had no other information about the people they are looking for, but asked anyone who saw or heard anything to call CrimeStoppers at 866-458-TIPS.
