Deputies search for armed robber of Circle K

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Officers are searching for a man in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store Tuesday night.

The man walked into the Circle K at 8796 East Church Street at 10:43 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk, officers said. He told the clerk that he had a weapon, but didn’t show it during the robbery.

The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the man fled the scene on foot, officers said.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the man fled toward Service Road 207.

Officers said the suspect is a white man in his mid-30s to early 40s, around 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing camouflage shorts and a long-sleeved polo-style shirt. Officers said the man’s head was covered by either a do-rag or a cap.
