Police ID man found dead in Arlington apartment complex

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police have identified a man found shot at an Arlington apartment complex Sunday night.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, David Moore, 38, was found dead about 8:30 p.m. by patrol officers who called homicide detectives to the scene at the Park at Via Veneto Apartments, near North Regency Square Boulevard.

Investigators said the incident started as an argument between two men in the complex's breezeway. The conflict turned violent and one of them fired a gun. Moore died of a single gunshot wound.

The shooter was questioned and released, police said.
