JSO: Man's body found floating in park retention pond No foul play suspected, police say No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man's body was spotted Thursday afternoon floating in a retention pond inside Beach and Peach Urban Park, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
The dive team was called just after 12:30 p.m. to pull the body out of the pond.
Sgt. Robert John said a person taking a walk in the park saw the man's body in one of two retention ponds in the park and called police.
No foul play is suspected, according to JSO. Police said they are working to identity the man.
