Police: Person shot in leg in LaVilla area

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot in the leg Friday afternoon in the LaVilla area, according to police.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the shooting was reported on West State Street.

The man had non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

No further information was released.
