JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A newspaper in the Bahamas is reporting that debris from the wreck of the El Faro cargo ship may have washed ashore on one of the islands not far from where the ship went down.Nassau Guardian , debris thought to be from El Faro has been washing ashore on the island of San Salvador in the last few days.
A resident sent a photo of one large piece of debris that appears to be part of a container. It is just one of the items administrators said have been found.

Officials said there is no confirmation these items came from El Faro, which went down near Crooked Island in the Bahamas during Hurricane Joaquin.
