JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Family members of a missing 29-year-old woman who have been pleading for answers since her car was found with the keys in the ignition on a Jacksonville bridge last week told News4Jax that a body found in the St. Johns River might be Ashley Brown.
Jacksonville police found Brown's vehicle on Thanksgiving Day still running on the Mathews Bridge. Brown's purse and wallet were left in the front seat, but Brown was nowhere to be found.

The missing-persons report said police did not suspect foul play in her disappearance, and that evidence on the bridge's metal railing was consistent with someone sitting on the edge. Crews searched the river, and a body was found Tuesday, according to her family.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office would only confirm that a woman's body was found in the river across from the Maxwell House plant. Police said they are waiting for the Medical Examiner's Office to officially ID the body.
The report also indicated that Brown's mother, Darlene Greene, told officers that Brown, a mother of two, was depressed, possibly using drugs and frequently met men online.
But Greene told News4Jax on Monday that some of that isn't true.
"That's in the police report? That's my first time hearing it," Greene said. "That's very private information, if it was information."
Brown's brother, Christian Cooper, posted fliers around his neighborhood asking for help to find Brown.
"She was supposed to go hang out with a friend," Cooper said. "That's when everything went cold with her."
Brown's family will hold a candlelight vigil for her at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Friendship Fountain.
