JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Time is running out for those who have not registered to vote.
Florida's deadline to register to cast a ballot in the Nov. 8 general election is 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The deadline comes one week after the original date. Voters had an extra week to register because of Hurricane Matthew.
People can register to vote in person or submit their registration forms by mail. To register by mail, the postmark date has to be Oct. 18.
People can download the voter registration form, then fill it out.
The application can be filled in online and then printed or filled out using a black ballpoint pen.
Steps to follow:
- Indicate whether this is a new registration, an update, or a request to replace your voter card, and confirm that you're a U.S. citizen.
- Confirm that you haven't been convicted of a felony, or if you have, that your voting rights have been restored.
Forms can be sent to the Florida Division of Elections.

The voter registration form can also be submitted to any County Supervisor of Elections, Florida driver's license office or tax collector's office that issues driver's licenses or Florida I.D. cards.
