Escaped inmate from Jacksonville Bridge Center on the Westside captured No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Corrections says inmate Lonnie Barnett Jr. has been captured.
DOC says Barnett escaped from the Jacksonville Bridge Community Release Center off of Beaver Street and Lane Avenue. DOC would not say where Barnett Jr. was captured only that he escaped Saturday and was captured later that day.
According to information on Jacksonville Bridge's website, the center "Gives male inmates an opportunity to get their lives back on track. Men in this program are gainfully employed during the day and work on substance abuse treatment, education and vocation courses at night."
