Missing Palm Coast man, wife found safe Elderly couple located in Tallahassee, deputies say
Bernard Raffestin, 81, and Anna Raffestin, 90, were reported missing from Flagler County
PALM COAST, Fla. – A Palm Coast man diagnosed with dementia and his wife were found safe in Tallahassee after a Silver Alert was issued Monday morning, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said.
Bernard C. Raffestin, 81, and his wife Anna, 90, were reported missing after last being seen Saturday. Deputies said they were considered in danger because they left without their prescribed medications.
The couple was later located in Tallahassee.
The Tallahassee Police Department notified family members that the couple was safe and a nephew who lives in Tallahassee went to go pick them up.
"I'm extremely glad this couple has been found safely," Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said. "This is a prime example of our community and state working together to protect our elderly residents. Thank you to all who were on the lookout for them."
