ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A body found Tuesday afternoon in a wooded area off State Road 16 is believed to be the remains of a 17-year-old boy who had not been seen or heard from in a month, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said.
Jesse Noah Stevenson was last seen Sept. 2, deputies said.

According to the Sheriff's Office, an autopsy is planned to determine positive identification as well as the cause of death.
A gun was found next to his body, deputies said.
The Sheriff's Office said foul play is not suspected at this time and it continues to investigate.
