OCALA, Fla. – Jefferson Davis Guinn IV, 20, was arrested Sunday morning at 5:20 a.m. after police say he was involved with the shooting death of his friend and former Florida Gator walk-on kicker, 19-year-old Daniel John Krysalka.
Saturday night, Guinn had been at a party and, according to police reports, had pointed an unloaded gun at someone at the party.

After people at the party started telling Guinn that he shouldn't go pointing a gun at people, Guinn left, eventually meeting up Krysalka and a third friend, Ethan Haynurst.
According to officers with the Ocala Police Department, the three men started talking about what happened at the party, which led the three men to start talking about the guns they owned.
Krysalka took out a Kel-tec .380 and Guinn took out a Kel-tech 9mm, saying he never cleaned his gun.
The three men took apart Guinn's gun to show him how dirty it was and after watching a YouTube video to learn how to put it back together, Krysalka handed the gun back to him, reports said.
According to police Guinn then put a loaded magazine into the gun, put a round in the chamber and started pointing the gun at Krysalka's face, making fun of the people who had originally told him they thought it was wrong to point a gun at people.
That's when, according to Hayhurst, the gun went off and Krysalka fell back, bleeding from the face.
Ocala Police Department Lt. Billy Woods said Guinn was booked on a manslaughter charge because the information does not "seem to rise to the level of a murder charge."
Krysalka was a 2013 Forest High School graduate, was a star kicker/punter on the football team and walked on at the University of Florida.
Guinn was released from the Marion County Jail after posting a $30,000 bond.
