Missing boater's body found in St. Marys River

CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. – The body of Jesse "Sam" Palmer, 57, of Kingsland, Georgia, was found Saturday morning, according to Georgia Department of Natural Resources
DNR says the body of the boater missing since Tueday was found in the St. Marys River near the Interstate 95 bridge.
Palmer went fishing aboard a 16-foot boat about 5:30 a.m. Monday. His wife reported him missing, and the U.S Coast Guard, the Camden County Sheriff's Office, the Nassau County Sheriff's Office and DNR all searched for Palmer.
Palmer's boat was found in a marshy area around dawn Tuesday. DNR officials said it was found about a half mile downriver from where Palmer went fishing.
