2 arrested in Sunday night home-invasion murder

Nicholaus Cooke-Drew and Brandon McBride were charged with murder, aggravated assault and home invasion.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – One day after a man was found shot to death and a woman was shot in a Brunswick home invasion, Glynn County police have charged two men in connection with the crime.

Antonio Jenkins, 23, was found dead in the yard of a home in the Southern Pines Mobile Home Park on Highway 99 about 10 p.m. Shtera Collins, 24, was shot in the face during the same incident. She was taken to Southeast Georgia Health System for treatment. 

Witnesses at the scene told officers two men came to the home demanding to see Jenkins. Monday afternoon, Glynn County police announced that Nicholaus Cooke-Dew, 30, and Brandon McBride, 31, both of Brunswick, were in custody and charged with murder, aggravated assault and home invasion.

Police did not give a motive or any other details of the crime.
