Son arrested in father's slaying in Glynn County Charles Workman Jr., 23 charged with murder

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – On the day before Father's Day, the Glynn County Police Department said it arrested a man who claimed he fatally shot his father.
Police say they responded to a loitering call Saturday morning on Stafford Avenue. When officers arrived, Charles Workman Jr., 23, told them he had just killed his father.
Police then located Charles Workman Sr., 65, lying on the living room floor with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The younger Workman has been charged with murder.
