The first Trail of Terror was actually called the Hall of Terror and was formed in 1970 and ran through 2005.
The Jaycees are resurrecting the Hall of Terror in the first Trail of Terror.
The maze is located near the Jacksonville Zoo on the grounds of Paintball Adventures on 11850 Camden Road.
News4Jax spoke to Project Director Shawn DeVries about the scary attraction and what people can expect to see there.
"When they come out, you can expect different zombies as you're going through our 8-acre trail. It runs through eight acres. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes to go through, and there are four different scare zones that you'll be entering," said DeVries.
Tickets are $12 online and $15 at the door and parking is free.
The maze will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will continue through Halloween.
But be warned-- cameras are not allowed and people will be asked to turn phones to vibrate or silent.
