After successfully transferring patients to their sister hospitals within the Baptist Health system as Hurricane Matthew approached, these hospital facilities have approval from authorities to return to normal operations.

"A heartfelt thank you to our entire health care and emergency response community who worked tirelessly before, during and after the storm to provide our region with uninterrupted compassionate care," said Hugh Greene, President and CEO of Baptist Health.

Hospital officials said patients from Nassau County were transported along with the nurses and doctors who care for them to Baptist Medical Center in downtown Jacksonville. Most beaches patients were transferred to Baptist South.

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Wolfson Children's Hospital, Baptist Medical Center South, the Baptist/Wolfson ER at the Baptist Clay Medical Campus and emergency centers at Town Center and at Dunn Avenue remain open.

Flagler Hospital

Flagler Hospital is continuing to assess all aspects of the facility with the passing of Hurricane Matthew.

The hospital is currently working to restore information systems at the outpatient laboratory on 312. If the technology issues cannot be resolved by this evening, a temporary lab draw station will be established on Monday in the infusion services area located on the first floor of the main hospital building.
