One of the options for JEA is to swap property with the city and build a new Downtown tower near the Duval County Courthouse.

JEA's current building is 55 years old and was the former site of the Charter Insurance Company. JEA purchased the building in 1989.

The building’s future is expected to be brought up in next week’s JEA board meeting.
