JFRD: Person injured after vehicles catch fire at salvage yard No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. ā At least one person was treated for burns Wednesday afternoon after several vehicles caught fire in a Jacksonville salvage yard.
Multiple cars and a car compactor were reported on fire at Larry's First Stop Auto Parts on New Kings Road, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
The fire affectedĀ traffic in the area with only one southbound lane of New Kings Road open before Garden Street until the fire was brought under control about 5:20 p.m.
It's unclear how the fire started.
