JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Because of the recent closure of the Mathews Bridge, the Jacksonville Transportation Authority is advising its customers who travel on the AR6, CT2, CT4, S1 and R5 buses to expect unusually longer trips until the bridge is reopened.

JTA customers who travel those five bus routes Friday morning should expect to add anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to their commute time. JTA said these delays will impact those passengers making connections.
JTA customers are also advised to get an earlier start on their commute.
JTA said the bus stops along the five routes are not affected by the bridge closure. JTA supervisors will be stationed at key locations to monitor the situation and assist customers.
