Man dies after medical incident at Massengale Park beach

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – A man died after a medical incident at Massengale Beach on Sunday, according to Glynn County Fire Rescue.
A Glynn County lifeguard responded to calls of a man in distress while in the water at the beach.
The lifeguard removed the man and saw that he was unconscious and they began performing CPR on him.
Glynn County Fire Rescue Paramedics arrived and began advanced life support protocols and took the man to a local hospital.
Despite the efforts of first responders, the victim did not survive.
