Woman found dead in lot on Jacksonville’s Westside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A concerned citizen called the police and said she saw a dead woman in a lot on the Westside on Saturday at 7:30 a.m., according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

JSO and Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department searched the 1700 block of Picketville Road and found the dead woman in the lot.

Investigators said the circumstances of the incident are unknown.
