JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are searching for the person that shot a man at an apartment complex in northwest Jacksonville.
The shooting happened at the Moncrief Village Apartments around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police told News4Jax an officer was patrolling the area when he heard gunshots coming from the complex. That's when the man was found shot in the stomach.
The victim has been taken to UF Health with possible life-threatening injuries.
Anyone who has any information is urged to call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
