Man holds security guard at gunpoint, robs 7-Eleven

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Officials are searching for a man who held an unarmed security guard at gunpoint and robbed a 7-Eleven at 4233 Dunn Avenue.

Deputies said the robber walked into the store on Aug. 18 and pointed a gun at the guard, who was making a purchase. He then grabbed the security guard by the back of the uniform, dragged him on the floor to the front counter and put his foot on the back of the guard's neck while demanding money from the store clerk.

Deputies said the store clerk emptied both registers, giving the thief the cash. He then left the store.

The robber is described as black, 20-25 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing between 150-160 pounds.

The man was seen wearing a black jacket with a white and red logo on the front, black pants and black boots. He also had a green camouflage bandana wrapped around his face.
