Davis is the boyfriend of Brittany Foote, 22, who was last seen March 18. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spent a week earlier this month searching the Trail Ridge Landfill in Maxville for evidence in her disappearance.

Foote (pictured) was living with Davis when she was last seen, but he has not been charged in her disappearance.

Court records show Davis' gun charge stemmed from an incident on March 21.

Davis has a long list of past criminal charges, including armed robbery, assault, theft, carjacking, marijuana possession and attempted burglary. He was also found not guilty on charges of murder and attempted murder in 2003.

Police ask anyone with information about Foote's disappearance to call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
