Police: Woman's body found on Lone Star Road No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating after a body was found on Lone Star Road near Mill Creek Road in Arlington, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
JSO K-9 officers found the body about noon Monday in the woods across from the Arlingwood playground in the 8900 block of Lone Star Road. They were searching for a woman who had been missing since Wednesday and lives nearby.
Police said the body matches her description, but they are not releasing any names until an autopsy has been completed.
Police do not suspect foul play.
The woman police were searching was known to suffer from mental illness.
