Police: Boy shot in leg in NW Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A juvenile male was shot in Northwest Jacksonville Friday night, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Police responded to a boy shot in the leg about 9:30 p.m. on St. Clair Street.

The boy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

JSO said they have not been able to question the boy, yet.

Witnesses said they heard gun shots, but never saw anything.

Police said there is no information on a suspect at this time.
