JACKSONVILLE, Fla – A man found dead inside a home on Spring Street on Aug. 5 has been identified by police.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the home at about 10 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of gunfire. When officers arrived they found the man dead inside the home.

He was later identified as 38-year-old Vincent L. Jones, who lived at the address where he was found.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit is investigating.
