Police: 2 shot to death in NW Jacksonville home JSO: 2 men found dead inside home on Broadway Avenue
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police investigating after two men were found shot to death Friday afternoon inside a home on Broadway Avenue, one block north of Beaver Street.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a someone called 911 just after 5 p.m. reporting gunfire.
Police spent Friday evening processing the scene and talking to witnesses, trying to determine what happened. It was not immediately clear if this incident was a murder-suicide or if there was a gunman who killed both.
As of Friday night, no gun was found, but emphasized their investigation was just beginning.
"We always treat it with an abundance of caution, obviously," said JSO homicide Sgt. Robert John.
The identity of the victims have not been released.
