St. Johns County deputies investigate reports of an armed man in Flagler Estates.
FLAGLER ESTATES, Fla. – St. Johns County deputies have caught a man previously reported to be armed with a gun in a wooded area of Flagler Estates off Underwood Avenue.
The Sheriff's Office said no shots were fired. Deputies said they're getting conflicting stories on what caused the man to run.
A neighbor told deputies he got into a confrontation with the man, who the neighbor accuses of then pulling a gun out, before running into the woods. Deputies said the neighbor told them the man did not fire. The Sheriff's Office said the family was concerned the man was out in the area with a gun.
