Great white shark spotted off coast of Fernandina Beach
FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. – A great white shark was spotted by two fishermen off the coast of Fernandina Beach Sunday, and the encounter was caught on camera.
Billy Skipper shared the video with News4Jax on Facebook. He and Cooper Meyers spotted the shark at about 1 p.m. just a few miles offshore.
After checking OSEARCH's global shark tracker, no tagged great white sharks have recently pinged in the region.
