JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left one woman injured. 

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Sunday on Wilson Street, not far from Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway. Police said a man drove the woman to UF Health Jacksonville.

Police did not say where the woman suffered the gunshot wound to, but she is expected to be OK.

JSO officers searched the area and found shell casings. At this time they don't have a suspect description.
