Woman hospitalized with life-threatening injuries; man questioned
No description foundJACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is being questioned after a woman was shot on Sunday in northwest Jacksonville, police said.
It happened on Woodland Street, which is not far from Stanton College Prep School.
Police told News4Jax that the woman was rushed to UF Health Jacksonville with life-threatening injuries.
Police haven't released any information about why or how the shooting happened.
The officer giving News4Jax details at the scene was forced to break up a fight that broke out at a home nearby.
