Armada FC Transfers Barrett to Swedish league No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – When Tony Meola arrived in Jacksonville he promised there would be changes to the roster of the Armada. That process continued on Friday when the club transferred forward Akeil Barrett to Swedish second division club Piteå IF. The terms of the transfer were not disclosed.
Barrett made started 10 games and had 23 total appearances for the Armada last season. He finished with three goals and one assist. A native of Kingston, Jamaica, he also had a U.S. Open Cup start last May. Barrett finished with one assist in five preseason appearances this year.
