JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The question about the NFL and live streaming of games has always been a matter of when not if. This Sunday the NFL will make history when they stream the Buffalo Bills versus the Jacksonville Jaguars game. The timing of this make sense given that the game will be played in London. Yahoo will stream the game worldwide online for free.
The game will only be available on television, on CBS, in Buffalo and Jacksonville. You'll have to get up pretty early to see the Jaguars this Sunday. The game will begin at 9:30 a.m. EST.
Not even DirectTV Sunday Ticket subscribers will be able to see the game on television.
The product you see online will be no different from viewing it on television. The game will be produced by CBS, with Kevin Harlon handling play-by-play duties and Rich Gannon as the analyst. The only difference is that the streamed game will have seven to eight fewer minutes of advertising than a traditional television broadcast, according to the NYTimes.
