Woman killed in head-on crash on near Callahan No description found
A 49-year-old Jacksonville woman was killed Tuesday morning when her westbound car crossed into the oncoming lane of River Road and hit an eastbound tractor-trailer head-on, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said Sandra Tackett died after the 9 a.m. crash near Goodbread Road, west of Callahan. THe trucker, Jacob Jackson, 33, of Hilliard, was not injured.
The FHP report said the accident is still under investigation.
