The 16-year-old boy driving the truck “failed to keep a single lane” and the left front of his truck hit the left front of the girl’s SUV, troopers said.

Both teens are from Bryceville.

The boy, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. The girl, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, FHP said.

Due to incorrect information from the original FHP report, the girl's age and the time of the crash were previously listed incorrectly.
