Arlington town hall meeting to focus on local child welfare services

Family Support Services of North Florida will host meeting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Family Support Services of North Florida will host a town hall meeting Tuesday to provide a forum for public discussion about local child welfare services.

The community meeting will include an overview of how FSS is working to serve local at-risk children and families, and will spotlight services and programs that FSS provides in Duval and Nassau counties.
The public is invited to provide input and ask questions about child welfare and FSS.

“The town hall meeting is an opportunity for everyone who has an interest in child welfare and the future of our community’s children to find out about our services and programs,” FSS chief executive officer Lee Kaywork said, “We’re looking forward to an open dialogue with the community.”

The meeting will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Roberts Building auditorium at 5920 Arlington Expressway in Jacksonville.
