CHICAGO – ShopperTrak says Dec. 4th will be one of the best days to shop for the holidays, based on how many people will be shopping on that day.
The group says the weekdays immediately following "Black Weekend" will be some of the best days to shop, especially for those who don't like crowds, because the crowds will be smaller.

"There's a reason Black Friday and the Saturday before Christmas attract the heaviest crowds -- retailers flood consumers with discounts and special officers," said ShopperTrak Founder and Executive Vice President Bill Martin. "But quieter shopping days also present their fair share of deals for consumers, along with more attentive customer service and a leisurely shopping experience."

ShopperTrak says there will likely be a good selection of merchandise still available in stores for people looking to get good deals because the days are still close to Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
