JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The band that changed the musical landscape will harmonize the 'sounds of summer' from their greatest hits and most popular albums when they rock the Florida Theatre on Monday, February 17.

Through their vocal harmonies and intricate, multi-layered pop songs, The Beach Boys have gifted audiences 36 US Top 40 hits, the most by any American Band. Considered one of the greatest albums of all time Pet Sounds (1966) includes the iconic "God Only Knows" and "Wouldn't It Be Nice."

The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who along with Christian Love, Randell Kirsch, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill and Scott Totten continue the legacy of the iconic American band.

The Beach Boys continue to perform 150 shows a year, ranging from sun-drenched summer festivals to gala New Year's celebrations and special events worldwide.

Love's role as the band's front man sometimes overshadows his stature as one of rock's foremost songwriters. "Surfin'," The Beach Boys' first hit came from his pen. With his cousin, Brian Wilson, Love wrote the classics "Fun, Fun, Fun," "I Get Around," "Help Me Rhonda," "California Girls," and the Grammy nominated "Good Vibrations." Years later, he co-wrote the irresistible and chart-topping "Kokomo."

In addition to founding member Mike Love (lead vocals) and Beach Boy veteran Bruce Johnston (vocals and keyboards), Christian Love (guitar and vocals), Randell Kirsch (bass and vocals), Tim Bonhomme (keyboards and vocals), John Cowsill of The Cowsills (percussion and vocals) and Scott Totten (guitar and vocals) round out the band. This tour will not feature Brian Wilson, Al Jardine or David Marks.

Tickets, on sale now, range from $71 to $44, and may be purchased in person at the Florida Theatre Box Office by calling 904-355-ARTS, or through any Ticketmaster outlet.
