Jacksonville man wins $1M in Monopoly scratch-off game

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A 59-year-old Jacksonville man has claimed a $1,000,000 top prize in the $10 Monopoly Millionaire scratch-off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

Adrian Pickett chose to receive the winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment in the amount of $750,414.65.

Pickett purchased his winning ticket from Safari Food Mart at 8940 Lem Turner Road in Jacksonville. The $10 scratch-off game launched on July 2. There is one top prize of $1,000,000 remaining.

The game's overall odds of winning are one in 3.34.

The Florida Lottery offers about 60 scratch-off games at any given time through vending machines or counter displays at more than 13,000 retailers statewide.
