CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Two women were hospitalized Thursday evening after a traffic accident in Clay County.
The two-vehicle accident happened on Fireside Drive and Henley Road, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

Clay County Fire Rescue and the Clay County Sheriff's Office both arrived at the scene.
One woman was airlifted to UF Health Jacksonville in serious condition. The other woman was transported by her parents to a local hospital.
The road was backed up for about 20 to 25 minutes.
Police are still investigating the cause and who was at fault.
